Shuttle Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company shuttle vehicles, following all traffic laws and company policies
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting with boarding, luggage and other needs as required
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle interior and exterior
• Adhere to predetermined routes and schedules, ensuring timely arrivals and departures
• Monitor vehicle maintenance and report any issues promptly.
• Follow established procedures for vehicle inspections and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.  
• Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch as needed
• Uphold a professional appearance and behavior at all times
• Review passenger confirmation to confirm passenger is on the right shuttle at the right day and time
• Communicate to the logistics coordinator of any delays in the scheduled pick up and drop off times promptly
• Greet customers with a smile and friendly personality at all times
• Refuel shuttles as needed daily
• Fill tank up at he end of your shift
• Hand off a clean shuttle to the next driver

Qualifications

Required:

• Valid chauffer’s driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a shuttle driver or similar role preferred
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices
• Customer-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Preferred:

• Experience in passenger transportation or related field
• Knowledge of local attractions, hotels, and points of interest
• First Aid/CPR certification

Physical:

• Ability to lift and carry luggage and assist passengers as needed
• Good vision and hearing, with or without corrective devices
• Ability to lift and transfer luggage of up to 70 lbs into the shuttle
• No smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, vaping or use of marijuana or any other illicit drugs during entire shift
• Ability to pass a medical clearance on a physical exam stating you’re able to perform job duties safely

**The role involves driving for extended periods and exposure to varying weather conditions.
